Simon D. Fettmann, internationally famous diamond cutter since 1965, decided in 1973 to go it alone.

He travelled the world in search of the most beautiful stones. Taking stones from their uncut state, he fashioned them so that their true radiance could best be apprecied.
Simon D. Fettmann, diamond cutter, very quickly revealed a hidden, artistic side to his personality, which would lead him naturally into jewellery design.

His skill took shape at his little workshop on the rue des Capucins in Luxembourg. His prolific imagination produced a perfect alchemy of beautiful stones and precious metals.

More than a line of jewellery, a new look was born: the Simon D. Fettmann look. He became the perfect combination of diamond cutter and master jeweller.

All that remained was for his work to be exposed to the public. This took place in November 1985 at number 43 Grand-Rue.

It was not long before Simon D. Fettmann developped a loyal clientele first in Luxembourg and then internationally.

His professionalism and his perfectionism soon won him entry into the major league of the jewellery world: the great jewellers of the Place Vendôme in Paris, Van Cleef & Arpels, Boucheron, Mauboussin and Chaumet, welcomed him with open arms.

This remarkable feat was accomplished on 29 November 1997 with the creation of a "Place Vendôme" at number 11 rue Philippe II in Luxembourg.
